THE DESIGNER

Katherine Wright, Interior Designer and Principal at KLH Designs, LLC sees life with an artist’s eye.  “Bringing ideas to life and creating beauty for others feeds my soul, and in turn, that artistic nourishment inspires me even more.  As both an artist and an interior designer, this continuous circle of creativity radiates in all aspects of my life.”

KLH Designs is a full-service residential design firm creating beautiful and functional spaces designed to enhance how you and your family live in your home. Katherine has been serving the Midwest for 20 years, and she believes every space should be tailored to your style, needs and budget.

Katherine’s extensive background in residential design, renovation and new home construction provides her the experience she needs to meet the requirements of any residential project. She constantly strives to design spaces that are tailored to her clients’ lives, thus creating luxury for them throughout their unique homes. She is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional and is the recipient of numerous awards, including a 2009 Dream Home Award, Best Whole House Remodel under 2,500 square feet, a 2010 ASID Design Excellence Award, First Place for a kitchen under 200 square feet, and many more. Her thoughtful design work also has been featured in publications including Distinctive Kitchen Solutions, and Traditional Home.

“My work is personal, and finding ways to inspire and nurture others is always at the heart of my work.  After countless years as an artist and over fifteen years as an interior designer I’ve come to realize; when your passion spills over into your career, it’s a beautiful, harmonious thing.”
